Life Stories

Looking back through the years of my life I see where I have found the road long and hard to travel down. I found that I had turned my back on God and the life I was designed to live. God never turned his back on me. In fact, He led my family and I to a well spring of God’s people and led me to the understanding that I am not walking all alone. God wanted me to let the guilt over past experiences go. I now know I live in forgiveness so that I can forgive and I live in love so that I can love.

A walk with God is what He desires to have with each of us and unimaginable blessings are in store. I have suffered with a severe back injury since I was 23 and in worship service on April 12 my prayer was for the pain of this injury to end. I had a sensation during the prayer time at the end of our worship service that everything was going to be alright. I felt the spirit of God walking by and touching me, touching all of us. I awoke from a long afternoon nap after worship service (I very rarely take a nap) groggy and unable to be fully awake after such a long deep sleep. I went to bed early that Sunday night and again slept very sound. On Monday morning I hopped up out of bed with a strange feeling of NO PAIN!!!!! I have been pain free since that blessed day. -Greg Donoho

I was addicted to cocaine and alcohol for 15 years. In an instant Jesus delivered me from both, and I have been free from them for 22 years. Today I know that God did this for me because he loves me, and I have seen Him do the same for others. -Keith Taylor

In my 20’s four doctors agreed that my depression was incurable. After discovering the love of Jesus Christ I found a joy that is incurable. I have been medication free for 16 years. In the last year I have experienced miraculous healing from cancer, a tooth ach, and even the flu. Today I am fully convinced that I am loved by a God who is good. –Pamela Rose

More times than I can count I have been destitute monetarily. Once I owed thousands on a car that was totaled and my insurance did not cover the loss. I could not repay the money, but God stepped in and provided what I lacked from an unexpected source. I was able to pay off my debt! I am convinced to this day that God is my provider; He loves me and always takes care of my needs because I trust in Him. –Randall Howell
