Tom and Cathy Ray have been married and in the ministry for 28 years. Tom gave his life to the Lord while a student at Southwest Texas State University and Cathy was part of the Jesus Movement/Charismatic Renewal that swept through San Marcos High School in the seventies and helped birth Hill Country Church. Tom went on to graduate from SWTSU and Hill Country Bible College and Cathy graduated from Oral Roberts University. Fresh out of Bible College and newly married, the Rays moved to Telluride, CO, where they pastored for 17 years. In 1998, after the births of their 4 children and many years in a mountain community, they moved back to San Marcos to help pastor their old home church – Hill Country. Now, eleven years later, they Rays have never been more encouraged by what they see of God’s Presence and fruitfulness in the church and His touch upon the world around us!
