Jim and Beth grew up in Christian homes and became Christians at a young age. Jim was called to the ministry at the age of 19.
He pastored Southern Baptist churches for several years, founded several churches, including Hill Country Church, taught in four Bible Colleges across the US, and co-pastored Liberty Church in Pensacola, Florida for five years.
He founded and hosted God’s Great Outdoors, a Christian outdoor television show that aired across six southern states. He has also worked as a hunting and fishing guide and is the outdoor journalist for the San Marcos Record newspaper.
He and his wife, Beth, have been married 47 years and live in San Marcos, Texas from where he travels as a Bible teacher and evangelist, speaking for churches, men’s retreats and outdoor conference. They love being at Hill Country where they are on the leadership team as the Silver Saints Pastors. Jim also teaches in the Bible school.
They have three grown children and six grandchildren.
